Overview
The admin interface is used to manage TeslaLogger. Here you can activate or retrieve various things, for example, retrieve the log file, trigger an update, or initiate a restart. Additionally, some statistical data is visible.
Vehicle Selection
With multiple vehicles, the selection is made via the menu bar as shown in the image:
Log File
The log file shows the internal messages of TeslaLogger. These can be used for troubleshooting. In case of problems, it may happen that people helping you ask you to send entries from the log file for analysis or search for specific entries. Please use the "Download Log File" function as shown in the image:
Restart
This allows you to manually initiate a restart of TeslaLogger. This is necessary manually when changes have been made to the configuration files, as mentioned there.
Update
How updates for TeslaLogger should be installed automatically can be configured in "Settings" under "Automatic Updates". Usually, once a day, a search for an update is performed if the setting is not "None". To manually trigger the search, for example after changing from "Stable" to "All", the menu item "Update" can be used. The TeslaLogger will then restart, and a corresponding message will be displayed. The update usually takes less than 5 minutes, but a backup is made before the update, which takes additional time.
